A.P.C.A. Jr. Master Celebrates 95th Birthday

Hello All
A.P.C.A. Junior Master (Mr. George Evans) of Durham, N. C. will turn 95 years old on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
George is a long time member of the "Bull City" Checker Club and is likely to be the oldest member in the club.
I spoke with him tonight (08/06/2023) and he informed me that he is still someone to be reckoned with on the checkerboard.
He mentioned several names including mine that should be very careful when we sit in front of him.
PLEASE NOTE: We will have a checkers "SHOOTOUT" in Durham on Saturday 08/12/2023 to celebrate George's 95th birthday and all checker players from anywhere and everywhere are invited to come and join the celebration.
Free food and drink and a ton of checker playing will be the order of the day.
We hope to see you there but just in case you can't make the trip I'm asking all of you to join me as I wish George a HAPPY 95th BIRTHDAY!!!!
